Order Changes
All changes must be made with 7 days notice or more. To make changes you must call or walk-in to the shop.

When transporting a cake, keep the cake flat and avoid quick brakes or making sharp turns. If any damages occur during transportation, it is automatically the customer’s responsibility.
Cancellations must be made with a minimum of 5 days notice. If you cancel with 7 days in advance or more you are subject to a $25 service fee. We would keep deposit, which could be used as credit for future orders. If you paid with debit or credit you are subject to an additional transaction fee of $10.
The cake should be refrigerated if you will not be serving it any time soon. Remove cake from refrigerator and let sit at room temperature to develop best flavor and texture. Let sit at least 2 hours before serving. Store leftover cake in refrigerator.
All orders must be confirmed by phone or in person, except for orders fully paid online. A $100 deposit is required for an order to start. No orders are official until a deposit has been submitted.

Cakes made at Vere’s Cakery are reproduced as our interpretation and are not an exact reproduction of any photos that you send. All cakes are subject to the decorator’s interpretation.
When your order leaves the store any damages or discrepancies become the customer’s responsibility. If you send someone else to pick-up your order, this becomes their responsibility. If someone else is picking up your order, they should know what they are picking up and should make sure they leave with the complete order. Inspections are the customer’s responsibility prior to leaving the shop.
